Susan Birch

Susan is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. This means that she abides by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice and subscribe to its complaints procedure. Her experience includes counselling individuals who have experienced sexual abuse, rape trauma, work related issues, relationship difficulties, lack of confidence and self esteem, depression and anxiety. Susan aims to provide clients with a collaborative therapeutic relationship in which they can develop greater understanding through effective therapy.

Maggie Ryan

M.A. Couns., Dip. Couns., Cert. Couns.

Maggie is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abides by their guidelines within her practice. She has worked for a number of years within workplace settings and has experience of a wide range of issues. Some of the main areas that Maggie works with are trauma, stress, anxiety (panic attacks) and depression, sexual abuse, bereavement, work related issues such as bullying and harassment, and lack of confidence and self-esteem. She is however open to working with whatever issue is presented.

Garry Williams

As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, Garry abides to their ethical framework as an integral part of his practice. Garry provides a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship to enable individuals who may have experienced anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, anger and difficulties in relationships to freely express their feelings openly and constructively. Garry also has experience with individuals who may have suffered trauma, bereavement and sexual abuse. He has many years of experience working with individuals who have learning disabilities and has provided a working relationship that enables some self-empowerment.

Ian Scragg

Ian is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, meaning that he abides by its Ethical Framework for Good practice which is incorporated into his work. Ian provides an empathic and non judgmental therapeutic relationship which enables each client to try and find their own way forward and work through their own issues constructively.

In addition Ian is also a Reiki Practitioner. Reiki is an ancient form of hands on healing. A Reiki healer acts as a channel for this life energy which the recipient of the treatment draws via the healer, activating the body’s natural ability to heal it self. Reiki goes to wherever it is needed working on mind, body and spirit, releasing blocked energies, cleansing the body of toxins and working to create a state of balance.
